Hi, my name is Heather! I am the owner of HLK Designs

I am a local of Cleveland, GA (Helen). I have mainly lived here my entire life and thoroughly enjoy living in these quiet mountains.

I have always found joy in creating art and love being able to paint for a living.

I started my career as a professional artist in February 2018 and have been a full time artist for 3.5 years now :) I have 25+ years of experience in all different kinds of media and painting on all sorts of different surfaces.

My favorite media is watercolor (even though I don’t paint much with it anymore) because that is where I started.

I am a mother of two children and love spending quality time with them.

I love that my job allows me to do what I love and take time off as I need.

My other hobbies include lots of alone time haha, hiking, making all natural products for my home, organizing, spending time outdoors just relaxing or on projects, sunbathing, singing, dancing and probably a few other things.

Having a creative mind I just like trying all the things, mainly just having fun and enjoying what I’m doing.

Hi! My name is Brittany!

I am Heather’s assistant and cousin. I’ve lived in Cleveland, Ga for 95% of my life. I did venture out to Nashville for about a year.

I have a loving, supportive boyfriend of 2 years now. I have no kids but I have 3 nephews and 2 nieces! I am a youth leader for my church’s high school girls.

I have always dabbled in art throughout my life but I really got into it during my senior year of high school. I was forced to take an art class to be paired with my AP class. As I continued through the art class, I realized I enjoyed painting and drawing. I’ve continued to draw throughout the years after realizing the passion I have for it. During my year in Nashville, I started working with Heather. Once I moved back, I started working more with Heather! This job has brought me a wonderful work/home life balance. I love what I do and I still have time to spend for my family and friends.

I am a coffee snob so if you see me out and about and I look sad/mad, I have not had my coffee just bare with me
